What does a label actually cost?
Prices are almost never published in this sector; you are told to request a quote. We collect list prices that have been published publicly, show their source and date, and make them comparable. The aim is not to give you a price — it is to let you know what is normal before you negotiate.
What quantity are you looking at?
Lists that state no quantity tier are shown only for single-unit purchases; presenting a one-off list price as a volume price would be misleading.

Items other than the label
These are the items that actually determine the budget, and where quotations most often hide cost. A comparison focused on label unit price ignores infrastructure and licensing.

How is this calculated?
Three things break comparison and all three are corrected. VAT: some lists include it, some exclude it; everything is normalised to a VAT-excluded basis. Quantity: tiers are kept separate rather than averaged away. Channel: manufacturer, distributor and reseller prices are not the same thing and each row shows which it is. The median is used because a single outlier distorts the mean.
