Are the quotes pricing the same thing?
Putting quotes side by side and comparing totals makes the quote that omits the most items win. This tool does not add up first — it shows the gaps first: which item is unstated in which quote?
The amounts you enter stay in your browser; nothing is sent to a server. Quote amounts are the most sensitive part of a commercial negotiation and we have no reason to collect them.
No winner is declared. The lowest total is not highlighted — because the lowest total usually means the narrowest scope. The decision is yours; the tool only says what is comparable.
"Unstated" and "included" are not the same: in the first the item arrives later as an invoice, in the second it does not. Writing zero would make them look identical.
